Ribworker C - 825 - General Purpose RIB
For this craft, functionality is key. It has a turning circle of 180° in less than 1.5 boat lengths at full speed, and is operable in sea conditions with significant wave heights. We have delivered several of this class to many clients, including Greenpeace.
Transportable by trailer, this small jet-powered RIB offers all the impact sustaining reliability of an aluminium hull, enabling high speed beaching and trailer recovery; the easily adaptable design from deck level upwards, allows suitability for a multitude of roles including diving, tender & supply/passenger services. The design is equally suited to out-drives or outboards.
Large freeing ports in the transom ensure adequate evacuation of green water but affords security when needed. Power comes from Yanmar 6LY 315bhp diesel, coupled to a Gearbox and a Hamilton water-jet. The 230 litre fuel tank enables 4.5hrs of operation at design speeds of up to 38 knots with the above power option. The versatility of aluminium enables the customization of detail for the proposed role of the craft such as lockers, strong points, hatches and single point lifting options.
