We are based in the Royal Dockyard, Pembroke Dock; the business being conceived in 1984 by Kevin, Huw & Sheila Lewis as a partnership operating from premises in Pembroke Dock, prior to acquiring larger premises in Fishguard, Pembrokeshire.

During these early years the business developed a number of designs for fish farm support craft, tugs, workboats & passenger craft that were produced for the UK market and abroad.
1997 saw a major business development with the formation of a limited company, and the relocation of the business from Fishguard to Pembroke Dock occupying a new purpose built building hall developed in conjunction with the Company’s landlords Milford Docks Co. In 1998 the family issued new share capital to finance the continued growth of the Company and the introduction of external shareholders; Lucas Boissevain FCCA joined as Finance Director. An association was formed with Ocean Dynamics International Limited in 2000 to facilitate the construction of the specialist Ribworker range of aluminium Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats (RHIB).

In 2001 the basis of an in house design facility was started and further enhanced in 2004 when Richard Morgan FRINA joined latterly becoming the Technical Director. In March 2004 the Company entered into a 20 year lease for the former Milford Haven Ship Repairers yard at Pembroke Dock taking over the premises and facilities to increase the fabrication space and diversify into boat refit and repair.

In June 2006, Ian Strugnell MCIM was appointed Commercial Director to develop the sales and marketing functions of both Mustang Marine and Ocean Dynamics.
